WHAT SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY SNP? Services available with spay/neuter surgery or during wellness clinics, unless otherwise noted. - Dog spay/neuter surgery for animals up to 80 lbs. - Cat spay/neuter surgery for animals over 3 lbs. 12 weeks (3 months) - Feral & Community cat spay/neuter surgery - Vaccination - Heartworm testing - Microchipping - Nail trimming - Surgery Only
IS SURGERY RIGHT FOR MY PET? Your pet is a good candidate for surgery if he or she is: - Healthy - Over the age of 3 months but not more than 5 years - Between 5 & 7 years with healthy results from mandatory pre-op blood work (Available at additional cost. Must be completed at least 5 days prior to scheduled surgical appointment. Please call to schedule an appointment for labs [Appointment days and times are limited]). - Under the age of 7 years - Weighs at least 3 pounds - Small - large breed dog (less than 80 pounds)

WHAT DOES SURGERY ENTAIL? - Brief pre-op physical exam by our Veterinary Surgeon/DVM - Sedation and pain medicine - General anesthesia - Spay or neuter surgery performed by a licensed Veterinary Surgeon/DVM - Tattoo on tummy - small incision filled with tattoo ink and sealed with surgical glue, indicating sterilization to healthcare professionals - Tender loving care - Feral & community cats receive an ear tip to make it much easier to identify them as sterilized or "fixed"
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT? SNP works hard to eliminate all financial barriers to quality care for your pet. These are just a few of the ways we keep costs low: - For all owned pets, payment is due at the time of scheduling - Check your email for a convenient, clickable link to your payment invoice - Payment is due within 24 hours of scheduling - Your appointment will not be confirmed until payment is received - If you do not have an email account, you may make payment over the phone using your debit or credit card (Please provide card information when scheduling) - Cash payment may be made in-person at the SNP clinic within 24 hours after scheduling - A convenience fee of $3.50 will be added to debit and credit card transactions over $40 to help SNP offset costly processing fees - Most major credit cards are accepted (We apologize, but we are unable to accept American Express at this time) - SNP does not accept checks, pet insurance, or financing/payment plans in exchange for services - Due to high demand, all new appointments not paid within 24 hours of scheduling will be canceled without notice. Canceled appointments will be scheduled based on appointment availability - A $20 cancelation fee will be charged for all no-call, no-show appointments. This fee is non-refundable, and must be paid prior to rescheduling - While we provide most services at or below cost, we realize this may still be a burden for some. If you are experiencing financial instability, and need additional assistance, please call the clinic and ask how we can help PLEASE NOTE: Discounts, specials, and financial assistance provided through grant opportunities, limited "vendor or event" discount pricing, and our non-profit funding partners is subject to availability. Funds are disbursed at the discretion of the awarding organization and are not affiliated with, or guaranteed by SNP Assistance provided through Spay Neuter Project's "SPAY IT FORWARD" fund is made possible by financial gifts provided by generous private donors and fundraising event proceeds."Spay It Forward" funds are awarded on a case-by-case basis, to applicants meeting the predetermined criteria. WHEN MIGHT ADDITIONAL FEES BE CHARGED? Prior to surgery, animals will be given a brief physical exam. If safe to do so, surgery will be performed but fees may be added for care and/or treatment time required. You will be contacted before surgery, and if you consent, a signed high-risk waiver will be required. - PREGNANT: Dependent upon the female's gestational stage, FEE: Cat: $10 FEE: Dog: $25 - CRYPTORCHID: Males whose testicles have not fully descended (detectible outside the body). Fee based on affected number and severity. FEE: up to $25. - WEIGHT: Dogs 45 pounds over. FEE: Female: Base $110 + $30 FEE Male: Base: $90 + $20 ANIMALS OVER 7 YEARS: Required lab work (must be scheduled at least 3 days prior to, and within one week of surgery. FEE: $75 SURGICAL SITE PREP: If your pet requires additional care or cleaning (flea or tick removal, bathing, etc.) to prep the surgical site, fees based on severity and treatment time. FEE: $5 - $15 EXTENDED SURGICAL TIME: If your pet's surgery requires additional time above and beyond the situations mentioned above, fees will be based on cause and time. FEE: $10 - $20
