CELEBRATING 10 YEARS!
Join us in celebrating The Spay Neuter Project's 10th anniversary! Together, we have made a significant impact on the lives of pets in our community. Your support has helped us provide affordable spay and neuter services, reducing pet overpopulation. Help us continue our mission to promote responsible pet ownership and ensure a better future for animals.
(HQHVSN) clinics have been established throughout the USA and have contributed to a significant reduction in animal euthanasia in shelters. These clinics, specializing in efficient systems and surgical techniques, provide an avenue for clients who cannot afford surgery to sterilize their pets. These clinics have also helped animal shelters with limited financial resources implement spay-neuter prior to adoption policies

Why Spay / Neuter?
SPAYING / NEUTERING = LONGER, HEALTHIER LIFE
Altering your canine friend will increase his life an average of 1 to 3 years, felines, 3 to 5 years.
Altered animals have a very low to no risk of mammary gland tumors/cancer, perianal tumors, pyometra, and uterine, ovarian and testicular cancers.
REDUCES THE RISK OF INJURY OR DISEASE
Reduces his/her urge to roam, decreasing the risk they will contract diseases or get hurt.
Studies indicate that as many as 85% of dogs hit by cars are unaltered.
Intact male cats living outside have been shown to live on average less than two years.
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is spread more frequently by unaltered males through bites and cats fights.
REDUCES PET OVERPOPULATION
By decreasing unwanted pet numbers, we also reduce the number of animals euthanized in kill shelters.
Cats reproduce at a rate 45 times faster than humans. Dogs reproduce 15 times faster. Without human intervention, the number of animals in need will continue to far exceed suitable adoptive homes.
ALTERED ANIMALS MAKE BETTER PETS
Spaying / neutering animals reduces many undesirable pet behaviors.
Altered male animals are less likely to spray or mark, and less aggressive.
Altered females will no longer have active heat cycles accompanies by bleeding and irritability.
Altered pets are more likely to stay close to home, where pet owners can care for them properly.
