SPAY NEUTER PROJECT
ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This accessibility statement was last updated on June 29, 2025.
At Spay Neuter Project, we are dedicated to making our low-cost spay-neuter clinic accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities.

What accessibility means to us

We believe that accessibility is about ensuring that all pet owners, rescue organizations, and advocates, regardless of their abilities, can access the vital spay and neuter services we provide. It's about creating an inclusive environment for all members of the community.

Our efforts for accessibility

Our clinic space was designed to adhere to widely accepted standards of accessibility, following the guidelines of the ADA and other relevant regulations. Our clinic is designed to provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities, and we continuously strive to improve accessibility features. Some of the adjustments we offer include:

  • Providing ramps and handrails for easy access
  • Wheelchair-accessible lobby
  • Training staff to assist individuals with individual needs
  • Clearly marked EXIT signs throughout our clinic
  • Implementing accessible online appointment scheduling and information resources

Declaration of our
commitment to accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that our clinic is accessible to most individuals. In some cases, certain external factors may impact the accessibility of our services. If you encounter any accessibility issues, please let us know so that we can address our capacity to resolve them promptly.

Accessibility at our clinic

Our clinic is designed to be reasonably accessible, with features such as designated parking spaces, accessible lobby, and accommodations for service animals. We continually assess and enhance our accessibility arrangements to ensure that nearly everyone can benefit from our services. Unfortunately, our clinic does not currently offer access to public restrooms, as these facilities are located within the treatment area of our clinic. Due to the importance of maintaining a sterile surgical and treatment area, and potential risk of exposure to aggressive or fractious animals, this area is restricted to the general public.
